It has been a rollercoaster rider for Gyeongnam FC, after having held the first place in several rounds after round 10 the team started with negative results and fall to the the 6th position after round 14.

A streak of consecutive wins saw them return to the first position for the round 17, positive results held them there until round 21, but have return to struggle with results and have fallen to 4th place.

One win in six games is a poor production for a team that aspires to fight for promotion to K League, Gyeongnam FC has struggle to score and their defense has just one cleansheet in this streak. Therefore this seems as the best opportunity to get three points and turn things around.


Cheonan City FC, the newcomer to K League 2 is seeing the hardness of the transition to fully professional foobtall, one victory and five ties in 24 games for a staggering 18 losses. Chenona has not been trying to be competitive and 10 of the 18 defeats has been by just one goal.

Cheonan City FC achieved and streak of four games without defeat, three consecutive ties and a win against Seongnam, their first ever at home. A good momentum going, but it came crashing down quickly three consecutive defeats, scoreless in the last two. The team should strive to change that negative trend of they will quickly secure the last place.

Gyeongnam FC obtained the victory in the two games they have played, with both teams scoring. Gyeongnam FC has never been behind in the score, always taking the early lead.

This is a trap game for Gyeongnam FC, the home side needs the victory and depends on other results to move back to the second place, meanwhile bottomg placed Cheonan City FC major aspiration is to get another victory before the season's end. The precedent backs up the home side, and meanwhile it will not be a simple game, Cheonan City FC has competed but fails in the end, Gyeongnam FC should get the victory here.
