Tottenham icon Harry Kane left the club and signed for Bayern Munich. He was the club key player last decade and his departure is definitely a big blow. New manager Ange Postecoglou, the first Australian to lead a Premier League club, will have a problem to find an adequate replacement. Richarlison will try to be the new No. 9, but so far he failed to impress.

Brentford have established as strong host and derby specialists. The Bees were beaten in just two of their 19 Premier league home matches last season. They got positive results against top teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. At the same time, Brentford are unbeaten in the last 9 London derbies (W5, D4), winning each of the last four. Manager Thomas Frank is doing an excellent job and the fans are pleased.

Brentford have won their final three Premier League games in 2022-23 and I expect the series to be continued in the new season.
