PR - Football - England - Premier League
Manchester City are in terrific form at the moment, winning each of their last six games across all competitions. The last two wins were impressive - 7:0 against Red Bull Leipzig in the Champions League and 6:0 against Burnley in the FA Cup. Erling Haaland has scored 8 of these 13 goals. He is rated as doubtful after pulling out of the Norway squad during the international break with a groin injury, but the medical team will do everything to be ready in time. Phil Foden is definitely ruled out after undergoing appendix surgery last weekend.
Liverpool are huge 7 points adrift of the fourth placed Tottenham. The Reds had some bright moments this season, like a 7:0 win over Manchester United, but the overall impression is poor. Klopp is feeling a big pressure, as well as the players. The German coach has some good news - Luis Diaz has returned to training after five months out due to a knee injury. Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas are doubtful, while Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic and Calvin Ramsay are sidelined.
I expect Manchester City to win this derby.
