Amongst the teams in fight against relegation at last round, yet, Granada is the one in best conditions.
Before away defeat against Betis they were undefeated for four rounds ( 2-2-0) and with only other two losses in previous five, anotehr one far from home. With a win they gain permanence without depending on other results.

Plus, they meet an opponent that loose 12 of its 18 away matches scoring only 15 away goals and today without topscorer De Tomas ( 17g) suspended.

Espanyol seems without motivations for weeks, only two draws in last six and only five goals scored in seven rounds, two of them by De Tomas ( one via penalty, too).

After one month out could start def. Gil ( 20+2) and three youngsters are called. With De Tomas surely out Morlanes ( midf. 11+16 2g) and Pedrosa (def. 31 1g).

Problems in hosts' field are not so great that could affect negativly the performance: Gonalons ( midf. 20+4) and Machis ( att. 16+9 4g) are doubtful, def. Neva and Torrente and midf. Rochina remain out, often starters but none of them on field in last period in which Granada improved in performances.
