PR - Football - England - Premier League
I expect Southampton to remain unbeaten in this match. There are two reasons for my pick. First, Liverpool will be very handicapped as four key players are out injured - Salah, Van Dijk, Fabinho and Robertson. That's not all as the other players are tired after 120 minutes in the FA Cup final on Saturday. Klopp is forced to rotate and that means he will start the match lot of reserves.
The second reason is connect with Southampton. They played the last match 10 days ago and all the players are fresh. Supported by the fans, they will give the maximum here. Hasenhuttl will ask the maximum from his players, no doubt about that. He is particularly motivated against Klopp. In January 2021 Southampton beat the Reds 1:0. It was an emotional moment for Hasenhuttl as the Austrian coach fell to his knees and cried after the final whistle at St Mary. It is clear the clash against Klopp is very important for him for some reason.
