J2 - Football - Japan - J League 2
Out of form FC Ryukyu receives an irregular Fagiano Okayama at Tapic Kenso Hiyagon Stadium for the game regarding the ninth round of J2 League.
After a scoreless tie in the first game of the season, FC Ryukyu has allowed goals in the following seven matches, two goals or more per game for an average of 2. 4 goals per game, the worst defense of the J2 League.
In the positive aspect they have also being able to score in every game, but
their production has not match those allowed, in five games scored just once. A 2-3 comeback against Renofa Yamaguchi represents their only victory of the season. Is clear the area they need to work on.
Fagiano Okayama broke a negative streak of four games without a victory. Despite having a one man advantage since minute 11, it was until the last minute that Takaya Kimure scored for Fagiano Okayama to claim three points.
Until last game clean sheet, Fagiano Okayama form suffered from the same aliment as FC Ryukyu, allowing goals in the previous four games, three games one goal allowed and three from Machida Zelvia, only side to score more than one against them since the start of season.
The precedent is slightly favourable for Fagiano Okayama, as they are unbeaten here and have obtained an away victory and two ties, both times Fagiano Okayama had the lead and FC Ryukyu came from behind to tie. Fagiano Okayama has scored in all three of those games.
Considering the current form of both teams, it points towards a game with goals and it has been that way in the previous ones, but they could neutralize each other mainly because Fagiano Okayama better defense. Therefore, Fagiano Okayama should take advantage of the weak defense that FC Ryukyu has to take points here.
