After a disastrous start with five matches without wins, Venados was able to achieve two consecutive victories, first home win 1-0 against Tlaxcala, currently the weakest team of the league, and then their first away win 1-2 against Cancun. But failed to stretch their positive trend when they lost against Alebrijes Oaxaca by the minimun margin.

Now returns to Olimpico Carlos Iturraled Rivero Stadium for this match, looking to build up from their home win last match here. To their side will be the increased heat, which should be on their side.
