CC - Football - Scotland - League Challenge Cup
Opening season for teams of scottish lower leagues, many teams seems not ready, yet, this is the case of Inverness, which trainer Robinson says they are not 100% ready and will use league cup matches as strong preparation friendlies.
Inverness loose at least six key players, among them two strong defenders - not replaced in best way, yet - and topscorer White (7g), with seven players promoted from their academy. In last friendly four key players were out and should the same today:
“We have Kevin McHattie ( def. 9+3), Aaron Doran ( second scorer 6g), David Carson(midf. 20+7) and James Vincent (midf. 15+4)all still to come back as well".
Third scorer Keatings ( 5g) should remain out, too and def. McKay ( 8+1) just returned from injury.
Hearts relegated from Premiership, new trainer, few starters left, trainer happy they have at least two players for every position and areprobably strongest contender to return in premiership.
Boyce ( att. 6+2 2g) and key def. Smith ( 23) are with Nortehrn Ireland Nt, but hosts shouldn't have other particular problems.
Of course both etams return to competitive matches after the longest break in their history, but hosts seems to have a better team ( also without consider guests absences) and more ready.
