K2 - Football - South Korea - K League 2
Game between ninth placed Ansan Greeners and second placed Suwon FC at Ansan Wa Stadium regarding the 22nd round of K League 2. In the opposite ends of the general stading, Suwon FC is battling Jeju United for the straight promotion spot, meanwhile Ansan Greeners is close to being mathematical eliminated from the promotion playoff and will be left to avoid the last place.
Ansan Greeners was able to leave the bottom of the general standing, a streak of three games witout defeat, one draw and two victories moved them up. In the last round Ansan Greeners streak was stopped by Daejeon Citizens with a home defeat. Now they will repeat at home, where they have one win in 11 games, only being able to score four goals in those games. The silver lining is they have score at least a goal in the last four games, but their defense has only one clean sheet in those four games, not looking good.
Suwon FC streak of seven games without a defeat looks to be stretched in this away game. Suwon FC is the best away side of K League 2, from 10 games, eight victories, zero ties and two defeats, with a stellar defending that has only allowed seven goals in those 10 games. Together with the best away attack, 23 goals in those 10 games for an average of 2. 3 goals per game. The best attack of the league is leaded by North Korean Byong-Jun An with 16 goals in 19 games, scoreless in the last two games, is due back in the score sheet soon.
From the last five games between them, Suwon FC has won the most recent four, one victory for Chungnam Asan FC in 2018. Three of those five games have seen one team scored, therefore a close game is expected here.
It seems it will be a one-sided affair, despite Ansan Greeners improvement, they are weak at home and regardless of their recent scoring streak they will be against Suwon solid defending at away and powerful attack, with Byong-Jun An scoring again. Therefore, victory for the away side.
