CM - Football - Mexico - Cup for Mexico

This is the last match of the group stage of Cup for Mexico. This match will determine the last team to qualify to the knockout stage.

Pumas UNAM
Winless in two matchs, a defeat against Cruz Azul by 1-4 and an scoreless draw against America. Despite playing at Olimpico Universitario, their home venue, Pumas has been unable to get the win, yet is faced with the possibility to proceed to the next stage, not only they have to win this match but by the needed score, as they need to overcome America in scored goals, therefore they should win by more than wo goals.

Toluca
Two consecutive defeats in which they where unable to score a goal have the team unable to quality for the knockout stage despite still having to play this match, therefore they migth play it relax and try to prevent Pumas from proceeding to next stage.

Toluca has shown good playmaking, but the departure of their main striker last season, end of loan of Leo Fernandez, has not yet been cover. No one from the team has taken his place as despite having important scoring chances, they have not scored, inaccuracy bing the most important factor.

Match
They recently exchange goalkeepers, and both might see action in this match, but that is yet to see as it might boil down to a fitness issue. Expect a match in which Pumas has to focus on winning and being more offensive than normal, meanwhile Toluca will continue with their defensive focus and counterattacking despite not having the desired result, but in the current conditions is their best shot to upset the home side.

Prediction
In group B, Cruz Azul has already qualified, Toluca has no chance, and all that is left to see is if Pumas UNAM can get the needed result to take the final spot in the knockout stage which America currently has. Pumas has been a little better than Toluca, who has showed a slight better defending, and despite Toluca being eliminated it will be a close match in which Pumas should win, yet the qualification to next stage might fall short.
