K2 - Football - South Korea - K League 2
After recovering from the opener defeat, Suwon FC had built up to a good momentum with three consectuvie wins, at away at Asan Greeners and Chungnam Asan and at home to Gyeongnam FC, 10 goals scored, only one allowed. But now accumulates two consecutive defeats in K League 2, against Bucheon FC 1995 and Jeju United, in a somewhat positive aspect they have just been by one goal difference.
In between those losses, the FA Cup win against Hyonchang by 10 -0, provide some relief, yet in the game against Jeju United, Suwon went without scoring for the first time this season, that is first game in seven in which they did not get in the scoresheet. With a slight better performance on the road than at home, the team returns to the Suwon Sports Complex try to avoid falling further in the general standing. The teams needs to provide more backup to North Korean Byong-Jun who has scored six goals in six games, but when he did not score, no other player did, and the defense did not hold, in the positive aspect only one was allowed.
FC Anyang has turn things around this season, after three consecutive defeats which put pressure on the team. Now they have three games without losing, one away victory against Seoul E-Land and two consecutive 1-1 draws, with the in between cup victory against Goyang Citizen. FC Anyang has scored in all their K League 2 games except on the opener, but also their defense has only collected one clean sheet and if the can not hold the rivals attack, then the offensive display might go to waste.
In the five recent games played between them at Suwon Sports Complex, three have been home wins, one draw and one away victory. Therefore a positive trend for Suwon in this game, yet one in which the unbeaten streak of FC Anyang should no be taken lightly, the best option for this game is the home side, being at home should work to get Byong-Jun in the scoresheet and their defense is performing better than that of FC Anyang.
