Over 2. 5 goals.
This looks like the game of the day in the spl should be a few goals.
Well its probably been the worst week in Rangers proud history- going into administration with a real threat of the club closing down. Im not about to suggest i have a clue about whats going on at the club- i dont think many people do- but one thing i have been really impressed with is the way the fans, manager and players have stuck together. McCoist wont be walking and there are rumours the players are happy to take a wage cut.
There will be sell out crowd at this game and while a 10 point penalty ends this years spl title race Rangers will be fired up to get a result. I m sure they will be thinking about getting that gap down to 9 points before the last day.
Its been a terrible season for the Gers but they have played pretty well in recent weeks with 4 goals scored against both Hibs and the Pars. The football has been a lot better. Healy has made a difference to the attack and Aluko is on top form.
Their 2 centre backs are looking a bit shaky it must be said. D Utd took them apart and dragged them all over the place in the cup defeat.
Killie are well clear of that scrap at the bottom and looking for a top 6 place. We have seen quite a lot of nice football from the ayrshire men this season and ofcourse they have a cup final to look forward too. He has a little too much to say at times but i expect most fans will be quite happy with Shiels 1st full season.
I like their options in attack. Shiels(managers son) is a very clever player that times the late runs into the box perfectly, Heffernan is an out and out goalscorer and on his day Dayton can trouble any spl defence.
Im not sure about Killies centre backs though id say along with D Utd and Dunfermline they probably have the poorest pairing. Very slow to react but also make so many unforced errors.
I think the crowd are going to really lift Rangers here and that we will see a great game. The tempo should be good from the 1st whistle something thats been missing this season at ibrox. I do expect Killie to have their moments though as they are quite a dangerous side on the break but Rangers should win, maybe 3-1 or 4-1.
