Hull-8. 5
Hull are looking strong enough to put in a real challenge so they should take care of Castleford tonight.
I really like the look of that Hull forward line- so much power but also plenty of experience. They totally overpowered Quins last week to make it 3 wins from 4 games and with Saints and Leeds not quite on top form Hull and Wigan are the 2 sides who look strongest so far.
Long is still missing ofcourse but they managed to cope ok without him. Their best quality is their defence, it has always been strong, even last season when they went so poorly. But it has improved again with the new additions in the summer. The kick and chase has also been of a good standard.
Cas are struggling a bit having lost 3 on the spin. There is no doubt they have the quality to score points against any side but im not to impressed by their defence or the amount of mistakes we see them make near their own line.
Warrrington, Bradford and Hull Kr were all stronger up front and in each game Castleford made too many simple errors.
The Tigers have a few injuries for this one and ofcourse are still coming to terms with losing Owan for the entire season after a terrible injury at Bradford.
Hull look so much stronger up front than Cas and that is why i expect them to win this and cover the start. It probably wont be the highest scoring game because the black and whites dont post that many trys but their defence should keep Castleford out.
Im expecting a big game from Lauaki and Manu- Castleford will struggle with the power they bring to either edge of the attack.
Hull- 8. 5 to beat Cas with skybet at 1. 91
