Enosis Paralimni vs. Aep Paphos

Enosis Neon Paralimniou is hosting Aep in Tassos Markou stadium in Paralimni for game day 22 of Cyprus Division 1.

This is a tough game between 2 teams that aim for the same goal and this is to get a position in the middle (placement) group of the Table, in order to avoid relegation playoffs.

Enosis has just lost away to Ermis Aradippou yesterday (Wednesday), a game that was postponed in January due to bad weather (even in sunny Cyprus!). Last week, they deservedly stole a point from Omonia in GSP stadium, with a scoreless draw after defending hard for 90’. However, Enosis is out of form these days. Defensively, they are doing fine but their offence is suffering. They just cannot create or score counting only 3 goals in their last six games. On the League Table, they are on the 9th spot with 22 points.

Aep Paphos is still celebrating the win against local rivals Apop Kiniras last week, 3-2. With the new Coach Kofides, there is a lot of enthusiasm in the team. In his 2 games on the bench, Aep is 1-1-0. The draw was away to Apollon 0-0 and I can say Aep deserved a lot more from this game. After 21 games, Aep is in the 7th place in the League Table with 23 points.

As I mentioned previously, this should be a tough game between 2 teams that fight to stay out of trouble (relegation playoffs). I will choose to back the team that has better form and this is definitely Aep. My bet will focus on Aep Paphos NOT to lose this game, having in mind that they never lost a game away to Paralimni since 2004. They count 1w, 3D and no losses in Paralimni. Overall against Paralimni they are 2-5-1. This could be more like a draw but I will choose a safer path and this is the DC X2 for 1. 65 from Interwetten.
This should be a low scoring game as well.
